Happy Mother's Day!

About two weeks ago we noticed Carson's first tooth breaking through his lower gum and then a few days after that we noticed tooth number two. Maybe Carson's teething had something to do with the mild fevers and other symptoms that he has experienced in recent weeks. Yesterday as we babysat Calder and Griffin, Carson flirted with the idea of crawling. Don't get me wrong, he still has a ways to go, but as we sat on the floor together, Carson learned that he can push up with his arms and legs and make himself turn in all different directions. He can now move his body a full 360 degrees with this new method, I imagine this is a precursor to crawling. Oh yeah, he also recently mastered the art of sitting up by himself and only needs a boppy behind him to provide a safeguard for any potential tipping backwards, which happens with less and less frequency. Finally, Carson enjoys making different consonant sounds like "Ba", "Da", and "Ga".......Trish claims that he also says, "Ma", but I haven't heard it yet....since it's Mother's Day we'll take her word for it.
