Summer Vacation is Almost Here
Two weeks ago we headed off to Spokane for the Memorial Day Weekend. We had a wonderful time visiting family. As you can see, Carson sort of disappears in Grandpa Wayne's arms. It's safe to say that Carson did not lack for attention in Spokane.
This kid is becoming a full time goofball. He fully knows that he can command the attention of a room and aims to please when he gets it.
One of the best treats of the weekend was spending time with Julie's son, Isaiah. Carson finally got to be on the winning end of a first cousin duel. Since Griffin and Calder knock Carson around a bit, it was Carson's turn to show Isaiah the ropes. Actually, Carson was quite nice to Isaiah and they had a great time playing next to each other (not quite ready to play together yet).

The Observer

Carson is watching and learning everyday. The other night he sat down to read himself a book. As he prepared to turn the page, he licked his finger and turned the page. I turned to Trish and asked her if she licks her finger before she turns the page, but she does not. I asked at daycare today if either teacher does that little trick while reading to the kids and it turns out that his teacher, Karen, does just that. Turns out that Carson is just watching all of the time.
