Congrats to Chelsey and Santavorn!

Trish's sister, Chelsey, married a pretty cool guy named Santavorn over the weekend in Spokane. It was a great wedding and loads of fun. Carson was the ring bearer and I believe he walked about halfway down the aisle before he sprinted past the flower girl. I am not certain of this as I was a bit removed from the ceremony with Annalea, but I think that is accurate. Trish and the kids are still in Spokane awaiting another wedding this coming Saturday and she has the camera, otherwise I would post pics for everyone. That will come later. I am back here teaching summer school and will join them later this week. Carson recreated his dance moves from Dad's 70th bday party last year and clearly wanted to dance the night away. He developed the empty stare of a war veteran by 11:00 and eventually just passed out on his bed.

Congrats again to Mr. and Mrs. Mam!

On another note, Happy Birthday to Sittie! We can't wait to celebrate with you next week.

Summer
Well, we're passed the halfway point and between teaching summer school, juggling two kids, preparing for a Spokane trip, and other activities the weeks are flying by. The kids are doing great. Annalea is sleeping until 3AM or 4AM fairly consistently and considering that she goes to sleep around 9PM this makes things a little easier on both of us, but especially Trish. It took Carson much longer than two months to hit that milestone. Annalea had her two month round of shots on Tuesday and appears to have weathered it well. She weighed in at just about 12 pounds and I can't remember her length, but she was in the 75% percentile or higher in both categories. So she is long and big, when her brother was mainly just big. She is smiling and laughing at all of us, but mostly Carson. Carson is still a great big brother, but has shown some occasional aggression towards her in the past week. He takes a few slaps at her now and then and is quickly reprimanded for it. All in all, he is great with her. He is definitely developing a mind of his own with strong opinions about when he should sleep, watch tv, eat, or just plain listen to his parents. Seems to be a little stubborn if you ask me, he must get that from his mom.

As you can tell, I changed the layout last month, but I somehow lost my flickr link in the process. Working on that, I thought I knew the fix, but it did not take. Check out this link to see more pics as I just loaded a bunch: http://www.flickr.com/photos/churt/sets/72157621481215097/

Happy 4th of July!

Yeah, I know I am one day late, but so be it.

Carson is at that age where memorable quotes occur almost daily. Yesterday morning as he sat at the breakfast table contemplating our plan to visit friends for the 4th he remarked, "I don't like visiting your friends, I just like visiting my little friends."
